Psychiatry of Greenville

Transparent Pricing

Clear costs.
Thoughtful care.

We believe you should understand the cost of treatment before care begins. Our fee-for-service model gives your psychiatrist the time and flexibility to focus on you.

Our Model

Care guided by clinical needs—not insurance restrictions.

Psychiatry of Greenville is an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice. Remaining independent of insurance networks allows us to focus on thoughtful clinical decision-making, accessibility, and the time needed to provide individualized psychiatric care.

If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance company.

Insurance & Reimbursement

You may still be eligible for out-of-network benefits.

We do not bill insurance companies directly and are considered an out-of-network provider for all plans.

Upon request, we can provide a detailed receipt—often called a superbill—that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

1

Check your benefits

Ask your insurer whether your plan includes outpatient mental-health benefits for out-of-network providers.

2

Request a superbill

We can provide a detailed receipt containing the information commonly requested by insurance carriers.

3

Submit to your insurer

Reimbursement is determined by your insurance company, and coverage or payment cannot be guaranteed.

Payment Policy

When payment is due

Payment is due when services are provided. New patient evaluations must be paid in advance to confirm and reserve the appointment time.

Because each history is unique, some evaluations may require additional information over subsequent visits. We will work collaboratively with you if more time is needed.

Ways to Pay

Accepted payment methods

We accept major electronic payment methods for your convenience.

Helpful Details

A few things to know

Can appointments be longer than 30 minutes?

Yes. Established patients may schedule consecutive appointment blocks when additional time would be helpful and scheduling permits.

Are extended-hour appointments available?

Limited early-morning, evening, or other extended-hour appointments may be available when coordinated in advance. These appointments may carry a modest additional fee.

Can you tell me what my insurer will reimburse?

Your carrier determines reimbursement. We recommend contacting the insurer directly for plan-specific benefit and deductible information.
