Conditions We Treat
At Riverstone Psychiatry, we provide expert mental health care for adults ages 18 to 65 — all through secure telehealth. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, mood changes, or focus issues, we’re here to help with a treatment plan built around your life.

Depression
If you feel stuck in sadness, exhaustion, or a loss of interest in life, you’re not alone. We provide compassionate support for mild to moderate depression, persistent low mood, and seasonal affective disorder.

Anxiety Disorders
From constant worry to panic attacks or social anxiety, we offer effective, non-judgmental care to help reduce symptoms and restore your sense of peace.

Insomnia & Sleep Disorders
Sleep is critical for mental health. We treat chronic insomnia, nighttime anxiety, and difficulty falling or staying asleep, using behavioral strategies and non-controlled medications when appropriate.

Adult ADHD
Trouble focusing, following through, or staying organized? We help adults with attention-related challenges using personalized strategies and non-stimulant treatment options.

Bipolar Disorder
We support adults experiencing mood swings, irritability, and episodes of depression or hypomania — offering structured care and long-term support.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
If intrusive thoughts and rituals are disrupting your life, we can help with evidence-based approaches for managing OCD symptoms.

Stress & Burnout
Emotional exhaustion, irritability, or mental fatigue from work, caregiving, or life demands are common — and treatable.

Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia)
For those with long-term low mood or chronic symptoms that don’t fully resolve, we provide long-term support and symptom relief.

Panic Disorder
Sudden waves of fear, racing heartbeat, chest tightness, or dizziness — even when there’s no clear danger — may be signs of panic disorder. We help you understand and manage panic attacks.

PTSD & Trauma-Related Disorders
If past trauma is affecting your present, we offer trauma-informed psychiatric care to help you feel safe, regulated, and whole again.

Adjustment Disorders
Life transitions like divorce, loss, or job stress can trigger overwhelming emotions. We help you process and adapt with care.

Mental Wellness Check-Ins
You don’t need a diagnosis to seek care. Whether you’re managing ongoing stress or need a professional sounding board, we’re here to help.

And More…
If you don’t see your concern listed, reach out. We understand mental health is not one-size-fits-all. We’re here to listen, evaluate, and provide the best care we can — or help you find someone who can.

What is Telepsychiatry
All appointments are done via secure video using HIPAA-compliant platforms. Whether you’re at home, at work, or anywhere with internet access, you can get professional psychiatric support without the need to travel.
You’ll receive:
Private, 1-on-1 virtual visits
Flexible scheduling (even Saturdays)
Timely communication through our online portal
When to Seek Care Elsewhere
At Riverstone Psychiatry, we want to make sure you receive the safest and most effective care possible. While we provide high-quality psychiatric services for many adults, some conditions are better supported in specialized or in-person settings.
Our care may not be the best fit for individuals who:
- Are under 18 or over 65 years old
- Are experiencing a psychiatric emergency or are in crisis
- Have active psychosis or schizophrenia requiring intensive care
- Are navigating intense substance use disorders
- Have severe personality disorders that need structured, ongoing psychotherapy
- Require controlled substance prescriptions (South Carolina law requires an in-person visit for these)
If you’re unsure whether our services are right for you, please feel free to reach out — we’re happy to guide you in the right direction.
